Adele Lipton ( Schwartz ), 90 of Philadelphia, formerly of New Milford and River Edge NJ  passed away on Sunday January 2.

  A true “Woman of Valor”, Adele led a life rich with education, social justice, spiritual commitment and above all, family traditions.  A former NYC teacher, Adele later became a prominent figure in local business, as well as social causes, including a term as a President of the Philadelphia chapter of HIAS, (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society ).  Adele loved and was loved by two amazing husbands, Jack Schwartz (d 1978 ) and Irwin Lipton.  In addition to Irwin, Adele will always be remembered and loved by her daughters Leslie Link, ( Chris ) of Naples, Florida and Robyn Basner, ( Martin ) of Paramus, New Jersey, step sons Brian Lipton ( Evan Warren ) of NYC and Russell Lipton of Philadelphia, her dear sister Harriet Sepinwall of Pinebrook NJ, (Jeffrey Rosenberg ) grandchildren Jaclyn, Rachel, Jason and Adam, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends across the nation.
