Dear Family of Annice,
I hope that this gets to you. I began working with Annice close to 20 years ago at Affiliated Healthcare.
We became friends over that period of time and aside from seeing one another each workday, we enjoyed
going to breakfast and lunch several times a year. She loved her nieces and nephews and we shared stories
of her “children” and mine. I knew that she was struggling recently but was still shocked and saddened to hear
that she had passed. We hadn’t spoken in a couple of weeks. She was a very bright woman and intellectually
curious which led to interesting conversations for us. I will miss her as I am sure all of you will. My thoughts and
sympathy is with you as you grieve her loss.
A treasured friend and (right next door) neighbor at Andrews Square Condominiums, 72 Pine Street, Portland Maine. After I moved to Gorham, we kept in touch; Cindy and I would stop by one or twice a year and we’d catch up on things – I’d hear about Abe, and her sister in Israel, news about the latest goings on at Andrews Square. I called her on December 19th to wish her Happy Hanukkah and to ask if she felt up to having a short visit. I got a recording that this number was no longer in service. I knew she had been stricken with IBM and was not doing well. I shall miss you, old friend.
