Audrey Loretta Sass passed away on December 30, 2022, after suffering a stroke and subsequently contracting COVID.  She was born July 7, 1937, in Brooklyn, NY to Philip and Shirley Kramer. She was married to Lenny Sass, who preceded her in death in 1998, for over 35 years.

Audrey was a loving mother, adoring grandmother, and caring aunt, and is survived by her sons Perry and Bruce, daughter-in-law Erica, grandkids Lindsay, Garrett, and Scott, nephews Danny, Jonathan, and Phil, and niece Melanie, who will carry on her memory. 

Audrey was an avid card player, moviegoer, and traveler until her ailing health slowed her from partaking in these activities she enjoyed sharing so much with her friends. She always wanted her loved ones to know she was thinking of them and made it a strong point to send a card or gift on their birthdays and special occasions. Even after being afflicted with Alzheimer’s, she would somehow manage to remember birthdays–albeit sometimes after the fact–and openly lament when the card/gift arrived late. 

Shiva will be held at the home of her son Bruce from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, and at the same times on Wednesday, January 4.
