Barbara (nee Scelza) Verdi, age 79, a longtime resident of Little Ferry, NJ, passed away peacefully from complications of alzheimer’s disease on Wednesday night January 5, 2022.  Beloved mother of Alanna Verdi and Jonathan Verdi and his wife Nicole.  Devoted grandmother of Sadie and Ethan.  Dear sister of Michael Scelza and dear aunt of Matthew Scelza.  Barbara for many years was a librarian at Cliffside Park High School. Memorial donations in memory of Barbara Verdi may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 North Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago Il, 60601.
