Blanche Swerlin (nee Ferber) of Fair Lawn, formerly of Brooklyn, died on Wednesday April 13, 2022.  Beloved wife of the late Morris (Mel), who died in 2004. She was predeceased by parents Anne and Benjamin Ferber and brother Murray Ferber. Devoted mother of Laurie Swerlin and partner Janice Shaw of Saddle Brook, and Shari Vigder of Stamford, CT.  Beloved grandmother of Jay whom she adored.  She also leaves behind devoted nephews Andrew and his husband Terry, and Marc and his wife Tammy.  

She graduated from Hunter College and completed graduate studies at William Paterson University.  Blanche pursued a career as a teacher in New York.  She had a warm personality, a beautiful smile, and kept many cherished close friends throughout her life.   For those that she touched, her ageless quality was remarkable.
