We are sad to announce the passing of Carol Ann Goldstein Abaya, of Marlboro NJ. She died at age 86
on April the 25 th of 2023. Carol passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones after a brief
battle with cancer.
She is survived by her sister Reba Goldstein Reznick of Phoenix AZ, and her two nieces; Ruth Priolo of
Colebrook NH and Deborah Taylor of Phoenix AZ. She is also survived by her five great nephews; Ross
Kennel, Jarod Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Garret Kennel and Jacob Taylor, and her great- great nephew Cole
Kennel.
Carol received her B.A. from University of Wisconsin and a Masters from New York University. She wore
many hats: journalist, world traveler, author of the Sandwich Generation magazine, and senior
advocate. She loved Orchids and animals!
Carol has been a strong and caring presence in the lives of all and will be greatly missed.
To honor Carol there will be a celebration of life light luncheon from 11- 1 pm on Saturday April 29 th ,
2023, at her residence at 46 St. Lawrence Way, Marlboro NJ, 07746.
