US Army Veteran who proudly served in the Korean War. Cited with medals and ribbons for his service.
Proud member of the UAW and Teamsters Union, working for Ford Motor Company for 37 years before retiring in 2000.
Beloved husband. Beloved father of Douglas and his wife Lisa, and Marsha and her husband Patrick. Beloved grandfather of Jennifer and Ryan Lappin. Brother of Lynn Freifeld and proud Uncle.
May he rest in eternal peace, you’re free from pain and limitations. We all love you and will greatly miss you, this brings us some kind of comfort. Precious memories with always be cherished. Doug and I were privileged to be able to take you home.

    Dave was a great guy. When I had a dispute with the ford motor company back in the 80’s he made a few phone calls and resolved my problem immediately.
    Dave always had a funny wit. He was the master of “one liners” many that I still use today. One of my favorites was when he would refer to a loser in a fight that the person would be spitting out “chicklets”.
    When you talked to Dave he would always stop what he was doing and look straight at you. You could see the wheels spinning in his head.
    I am glad to have known Dave. He would add color to any conversation and he will be missed.
