Dennis Frank, age 71, a longtime resident of Fair Lawn, NJ, passed away suddenly on Sunday night June 26, 2022. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Edelstein) Frank for 47 years. Devoted father of Gerald Frank and his wife Sharon of Brooklyn, NY, David Frank and his wife Lauren of Staten Island, NY, and Jonathan Frank and his wife Rachel of Teaneck, NJ. Cherished grandfather of Mordechai, Yiskah, Yaakov, Ella, Scarlett, Aryeh, and Leah. Dear brother of Judith Schwartzman and her husband Robert of Syosset, NY. Dear Uncle to Gina Schwartzman & Philip Schwartzman and his wife Jamie. Dennis was a tax auditor for the IRS in New York City and afterwards in their appeals department. Dennis was a longtime member of Temple Beth Sholom in Fair Lawn, NJ, he served on the Fair Lawn Board of Education and was a Bergen County Democratic committee man. Memorial donations in memory of Dennis Frank may be made to the American Diabetes Association, diabetes.org.

To his entire family, of which I became part of through Hanna, his mother, I convey may heartfelt condolences. For me he was a beacon of warmth, great international mind-set, welcomed everyone in his wide and open arms. These, I still feel around myself, and I will miss him greatly.

We mourn the loss of our dear friend, Dennis Frank. Our hearts are breaking and we are forever changed by his passing. Dennis was a true friend – my husband Allan’s best friend. So many memories we’ve experienced over 47 years. We’ve celebrated holidays, BBQs, dinners out together, vacations, and other special occasions over the years with Dennis and his family. He welcomed us with open arms to his home, and we are grateful to have known him. Dennis will be forever be in our hearts. Our deepest condolences to his wife, Barbara, and to the entire family. We’ll miss him deeply.
