Eli Gaynor, age 98, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2021.  Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Paganessi). Devoted father of Ron, Richard, Debra Gaynor, and Donna Boyer, and step father of Wayne Rispoli, Joseph Rispoli, and Joyce Hartpence.  Dear brother of Edith. Cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren.  Throughout his life Eli owned several businesses.  He owned the Fawn Lodge Hotel on Lake Hopatcong, NJ, the Triple Lake Dude Ranch in Succasunna, NJ, and Middleton & Company Insurance Agency.  Eli was a staff sergeant during WWII in the 17^th Weather Squadron in the Army Airforce Corp. Eli was a member of the Manta Ray Scuba Diving Club for the NJ State Police, a past commodore of the Garden State Yacht Club,  a member of Club Pilates and a member of the Newton Rotary Club, Newton, NJ.    Eli was also a private pilot having reclaimed many wrecked airplanes, rebuilding them and flying airborne again.
