Gennady Malinsky passed away on Monday, February 14th, 2022, after a long battle with ALS and COVID-19 complications.

Gena, as many friends and family called him, was born on January 16, 1949, in Bobruisk, Belarus. He enlisted in Soviet Air Force after graduating from high school and later attended military college and university, earning first his Bachelors, and then Masters Degree in Aviation Engineering.

Gena is survived by his wife Galina, daughter Svetlana and son Dmitry, grandchildren Sophia, Sasha, Isaac, Eva, as well as his brother Vladimir. He was predeceased by his brother, Michael, and most recently his mother, Raisa.
