Full Name: Janet S. Sosinsky

On August 19th, Janet Sari Sosinsky died peacefully at home in Clifton, NJ with her loving husband Emanuel by her side.  Janet was born on March 16, 1948. She graduated from Queens College with a BA and the Jacob School of Music at Indiana University with a master’s degree.  She leaves behind two children, Brian and Melissa, and five grandchildren, Justin, Meghan, Lillian, Emily and Maya. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. No matter the time of day or day of year she always was there for her family.  Aside from her family, her next greatest love was music and the piano. Growing up her children remember being put to sleep by Janet’s practicing most nights. Janet was a long term pianist at Beth Tikvah Temple in Wayne, NJ where her and Emanuele were members for over 30 years. She also performed with her husband and Naomi Miller in various concerts across the United States and Europe.  She will be greatly missed by her family, multitude of friends and anyone else lucky enough to know her.  Memorial Donations in memory of Janet S.
