Janice Berger, nee Freedman, age 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 22nd, 2024.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Sy, and is survived by her son Jonathan (Elaine), Eric (Dee Dee) and her cherished grandchildren Scott (Enshia), Brett, Max, and Zoe.

Born in Harrisburg on February 9 th, 1931, she lived in New York City after graduating from Penn State University. She worked for 10 years for NBC in the Documentary Division as a Production Assistant and went on to a successful Real Estate career in Northern New Jersey.

She raised her family in Oradell where she lived for over 50 years. Janice loved to connect with friends and clients; she was always curious and inquisitive about the lives of others as well as politics and the world around her. She maintained long-term relationships which she cherished. She will be deeply missed by all, and we feel fortunate to have had her in our lives for this long.

Shiva will be held following the burial from 2-9pm at her home.
