Jeffrey H. Zerowin, of Fair Lawn, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022. Jeffrey was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, to parents Melvin and Adele in 1942, and resided there with his wife Ronelle (Roni, nee Fine) before moving to Fair Lawn, NJ, for 49 years. Jeffrey was a congregant of the Fair Lawn Jewish Center/Congregation B’Nai Israel and served as the Chancellor of the Knights of Pythias, the Benjamin Cardozo Lodge #163. Jeffrey also served on the Fair Lawn Board of Education for many years and was both a teacher and an assistant principal for the New York City Board of Education. Beloved husband for 57 years of Roni. Devoted father of Eva Baratta (Lorenzo), Jill Kadar (Robert) and Eric (Rachel). Dear grandfather of Gabrielle, John Carlo, Temmie Leff (Yoni), Binyamin, Yitzi, Dasi, Moshe, Shua, Yocheved, Emma & Eli, and two great grandsons Mordechai Simcha & Meir Yehuda. Loving brother of Sharon Miller.
