Justin Horowitz passed in Delray Beach on Oct. 14 at the age of 93 years young. Pops, as he was known to many,  lived a life filled with zest for adventure, commitment to meaningful relationships with family and friends and, most importantly, love.  He taught us to never sweat the small stuff and instead focus on being in the moment, especially if that moment was shared with someone he loved.  Justin loved life as much as he was loved by his family, including Lewis, Sabra, Joel, Lisa, Melinda, Esther, Rikki, Gabi, Max, Amrit, Shawn, Ely, Barbara, Danny, Ru, Aaron, Debbie and his great grandson Izzy as well as the extended “clan,” including all the Kirsch, Hurwitz and Sanders-Goldberg families, and his loving partner Judie. Pops is predeceased by his loving wife Esther and his life partner Susan. For those inclined, donations in Justin’s memory can be made to either Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) which is continuing its work now by helping resettle so many Ukrainians of all faiths, or Surfers Healing, an organization supported by his daughter Sabra that provides camp experiences for autistic children in Ocean City Maryland.
