On Wednesday, October 13, 2021, Marjorie Blum née Scheinberg, loving mother of Erica and husband Brett and grandmother to Maxwell, passed away suddenly at the age of 70.

Marjorie was born on May 20, 1951 in Passaic, NJ, and adopted by Mary and Mike Scheinberg of Clifton, NJ. She received her baccalaureate and master’s degree and had an early career in marketing. She then became a teacher for the Passaic Board of Education. Marjorie had a passion for art and gardening and loved collecting antiques. She was also known for her advocacy work, her dynamic spirit, her wry sense of humor, and as a dear friend to many.

    Ah, Marjorie …! Loved your wit and positivity. A favorite memory is of us hanging out in the diner on the last day of indoor smoking in NJ. I wasn’t really a smoker but we lit up those lousy Carltons of yours and had a grand old time 💜
