Mildred Millstein (née Sokoloff), age 90, died peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2023, in Delray Beach, FL. Mildred
was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She and her husband of over seventy years Morton (Morty), were residents of New Jersey for sixty five years, living in Elmwood Park, Fair Lawn, Rockaway Township, and then Delray Beach, Florida.
She is survived by Morty, her three sons, Allan and wife Jackie of Emerson, NJ, Neal and wife Kate of South Hampton, England, Steven and wife Mara, of Delray Beach, Florida. She was the proud grandmother of Lisa, Zachary, Arrielle, Cortney, Stefani, Haley, their spouses and her great grandchildren Miller, Sullivan, Lennon and Madelyn. Mildred was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was the youngest of seven children of Cantor Jacob and Minnie Sokoloff (née Zelnacuff). She was predeceased by her parents and all her siblings, and the proud aunt to sixteen nieces and nephews, and countless great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the home of Allan and Jackie Millstein, 161 Colonial Rd, Emerson, NJ 07630, on Sunday, April 9, 2023, at 6:30pm, and on Monday April 10, 2023, from 2pm to 4pm and at 6:30pm. A minyan service will be held at 7:30pm on Sunday and Monday at the Millstein home.
