Ms. Rochman without a doubt was one of the best teachers to come into my life. She didn’t treat me like some scared baby who couldn’t speak, but instead like someone; who while struggling in some areas, was still capable of doing great things. She showed me by saying how proud she was of me, talking about how much she loved my art and writing, encouraging me to try and push myself but not to the point of crying. If it wasn’t for her I doubt I’d be able to be where I am now or even be able to graduate and survive high school on time. Ms. Rochman, you will be greatly missed by many and I hope you are smiling down on us from above.

I recently retired from teaching in the Academics @Englewood after 20 years, I came to Mindy for many years as a great sister, friend, and a wonderful teacher who supported and helped so many of our seniors at the high school.
7 weeks ago I invited Mindy along with a group of my teachers colleagues to my house for a farewell dinner and I did not know that this was a farewell for Mindy.
Until we meet again, my best friend.

Ms. Rochman was by far one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. She always believed in the best and for the best for all her students. She saw potential that we couldn’t and pushed us to become the best (not only students) but people who’d face the reality outside of high school! I remember going to her classroom with friends EVERY lunch period and eating food with her, sharing a laugh, and learning so much. She will be so dearly missed and I pray for God’s comfort to all who are grieving.

Mindy was a longtime and good friend to my sister Patricia. They had lots of adventures and i know she will be missed not only by my sister, but by her many students! May the memories you had as a family sustain you in the coming months and may you all find peace in knowing she was loved and admired.

Ms. Rochman cared so much for her students. She constantly pushed them to achieve their greatest potential. She believed in me like no other teacher has before. She advocated for me and was a person I could go for anything. She constantly made me laugh and feel supported. I will always remember her as the great mentor she was. I am where I am today because of her and I will be forever grateful.

Ms. Rochman was the best part of my highschool experience. We’d always go into her room during our lunch periods and rambled on while she laughed with us. She was the biggest help to me during my entire college application process when I had to figure everything out on my own. I am so heartbroken and miss her dearly. May she rest in peace, I love you Ms. Rochman❤️

Ms. Rochman was a mentor to me. My siblings and I have been blessed to be taught by her and her spirit always lit up the room. Whenever we’d see each other we always had a deep conversation and she always reassured me if I was unsure about where I wanted to go in life. Whenever I see snoopy, wherever I go, I will be reminded of her and keep her memory in my heart forever. May she rest in peace — I love you Ms. Rochman.

Mindy was truly a treasure. Ive never had someone go so out of their way to welcome me, make me feel wanted and someone who always told me how much she enjoyed being around me. She made me feel safe and loved. She cared to always ask more, get to know me more and include me. I will treasure every moment and memory I have of her for the rest of my life.

Ms. Rochman will always have a place in my heart. Even when I bothered her and went to her class during lunch to simply ramble. She always made me feel welcomed and appreciated. She was the most supportive and loving person to all her students, and I’m so grateful to be able to have her as my teacher. You don’t understand how much you changed my life and I will forever love you Ms. Rochman. Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. I love you.
