It is with great sadness that the family of Miriam Lehman (née Tucker) announces her passing on June 22, 2020, after 89 years.  She was a graduate of Hunter College and a career Budget Analyst at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway, New Jersey.  Her main focus was her family, and her interests included music, architecture, hospital volunteer work, travel, cooking, and sewing.  Miriam was born in The Bronx, New York, and moved to Dover, New Jersey, after marriage.  She was a long-time resident of White Meadow Lake and a long-time member of White Meadow Temple in Rockaway.  She spent her last years in Whippany. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Benjamin Lehman, her daughter Adrienne Frager (née Lehman), and her son Stuart Lehman.  She was proud of her grandchildren, Alicia Penn (née Frager, husband Jason Penn) and Matthew Frager, and her great-grandson Harrison Penn.  She was predeceased by her parents Anna and Abraham (Max) Tucker and her sister Selma Beyer.Miriam was laid to rest in King Solomon Memorial Park in Clifton, New Jersey.  Due to current contact limitations, her immediate family is observing shiva through White Meadow Temple’s virtual prayer services.
