Rita Gish of Fair Lawn, NJ, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on April 7, 2022. She was born September 2, 1934 in New York, NY, where she lived until moving to Fair Lawn in 1974. Loving widow to Irwin H Gish, dedicated mother to Jeffrey and Philip, proud grandmother to Andrew, and doting great-grandmother to David.
Rita worked at John A Forrest School in Fair Lawn for many years in the office, forming lifelong bonds with many fellow co-workers. She loved Rod Stewart, Robert Redford, Sean Connery, and her NY Yankees.
In lieu of flowers, donations made me made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in her memory.
