Rita L. Golding 92, a longtime resident of the Radburn area of Fair Lawn, NJ passed away on March 11, 2023. Rita was the loving wife to her husband Stewart  for 69 years who proceeded her in death. She was the loving mother to her children Mitchell Golding (Beverly) and Lisa Safier(Robert). She is also survived by granddaughters Kristen(Daniel) and Amanda, as well as her great grandchildren Gabriel, Henry, Gretchen, Asher, and Denvi.

Rita had an exciting career in the music and marketing industries. After studying ballet at Carnegie Hall, she worked at Columbia Records in design and promotion. Rita worked with many well-known artists such as Benny Goodman, Rosemary Clooney, and Johnny Ray. She later worked in market research in NYC.

Rita was an alumna of Furman University, in South Carolina where she loved college life, and particularly enjoyed participating on the cheerleading squad.

Rita was very community minded and eagerly participated in several religious and local organizations. She was a longtime active member of the Radburn Players, both on and off stage, serving in many positions including President.

Rita will be remembered for her joy in life, caring manner and strong connection with friends and family. She was highly respected and loved by all that knew her.

Services will be held on Monday March 13^th at 1:00 p.m.  at Louis Suburban Chapel, 13-01 Broadway (Rt. 4 West) Fair Lawn, NJ.
