Robert Arthur Yampell (Tiger). Born April 26th , 1936 in Philadelphia, Pa. He was raised in Haddonfield, New Jersey where he was a star wrestler. A graduate of Lehigh University, he earned his MBA at New York University while working on Wall Steet. He worked on Wall Street his entire career and loved the stock market. Devoted husband of Bernice Buchalter Yampell for 64 years. They raised a family in Ridgewood, New Jersey. Beloved father of Richard Yampell, Sharon Yampell (the late Roie Some), Sandra Yampell (Robert Schwartzberg) and grandfather to Daniel Enden. He served as President of Temple Israel in Ridgewood. He was an avid backgammon player and could be found playing regularly with his friends at Graydon Pool. A competitive bridge player, at times he played three times a week. In his retirement he was an active member of the Hobbyist club.

    Bobby was such a cute kid, a few months younger than I; he had an infectious giggle, always smiling & fun to be around.
    When he visited my summer home for a week every summer, he turned on all the lights in our big, old house. When questioned by my mother as to why, it was because he had stock in the Atlantic City Electric Company. …..a foretelling of his future profession.
