Bob Nacht passed away in his sleep on December 25 from complications of Parkinson’s Disease. He transitioned peacefully at home under Hospice care.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, he lived for 58 years in Englewood, NJ and enjoyed spending weekends at his home since 1992 in the Berkshires, South Egremont, MA.

In his thirties he learned to ride a bicycle, sail a boat, and fly a plane. He took flying lessons at night (fly by Nacht) and got his private pilot’s license.

He worked as an Art Director for “Mad Men” era advertising agencies…and at one of which, Doyle Dane Bernbach, he met his wife, Irmari Weinstein. He was a photographer for corporate clients, worked at CBS, and had his own advertising agency.  Later he became a Financial Planner helping people save and increase their money and plan for retirement.

He was a loving grandfather, father, husband, brother, uncle, and friend and will be very much missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Irmari; his three children and their spouses, Jonathan (Tae), Jeremy (Faye), Sarah (Steven); and 4 grandchildren, Nissa, Adi, Lielle, and Max.

A graveside service will be held at Riverside Cemetery,  12 Market St, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663 on Sunday, December 29 at 1:30, please line up at the office at 1:15pm.
