My memories of Ruth as a devoted wife and best friend to her beloved husband, Isidore Kovner, will always be a treasure in my life.
I am thankful for her gifts of vitality, laughter, and love.
Thank you, Bruce, for your kind thoughts. I have fond memories of your father who provided guidance and affection to me as well as love for my mother and his family. She was a kind and gentle person who was open and helpful to all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your brothers, Bruce. Ruthie was dear friends with my Aunt Agnes, and I have heard all the stories from Castle Village to Gainesville. Ruthie went to George Washington High school with my uncle, and she and Bea were friends “since forever”. Nobody better to go shopping with, as she was able to find wonderful “one of a kind” items for her homes. We were able to visit in the Gainesville house a few times, and loved seeing her talents and artful eye to design. She took us to the museum in Gainesville where she was a docent, and showed us around Gainesville at breakneck speed! Luckily, we still have a LOT of great, funny, poignant stories to fill our hearts when we think fondly of Ruthie. The “O’Donnell family” is cherishing her memory.
