   My name is Herb Tobias. I lived 2 houses away from Stanley. I met him and his brother Richy when I was 4 1/2 years old . We played marbles pick up sticks cops and robbers hide and go seek. We went bike riding to Coney Island, Prospect Park and the Steeplechase amusement park.. On Sundays we would go to the new garden movie house and paid $.25 We were there from 9 AM till 5 PM and never saw the same movie twice..Watch the planes takeoff in Kennedy airport. Met the girls in the neighborhood Play pool and set up Bowling pins in Menorah Temple. We went on dates with all the girls from the neighborhood went to high school together had many friends we would hang out at the stoop which was the entrance to an old dentist office right near 14th Ave.. we were life long friends, He will be missed.    We met when I moved to Brooklyn when I was 4 1/2 years old. We grew up together, and had wonderful times, we were best friends. Did everything together we stayed in contact all of our lives.

   I met Stan over 40 years ago. We both had printing company’s and would help each other out when we could.
   Stan was so funny he should have been a comedian. Sunday, rainy day, snowy day whatever he was sunshine to all

   He was my best friend. He has left us with a very wonderful wife, children and grandchildren. They are legacies that will
   keep his light burning.

   Goodbye my best friend, I was blessed with being your friend for so many funny years.
