Susan Rothschild Mason, age 75, of Hackensack, New Jersey passed away on May 13, 2023 after a short but courageous fight with cancer. She was born on August 1, 1947 in Washington Heights, New York to Ilse and Hans Rothschild.

After earning her degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology, in sales and merchandising, Sue went on to fulfill her dream of becoming a buyer in New York City for multiple department stores. She then went on to have a very successful career in media and advertising sales.

Sue lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City, shopping, traveling, trying new restaurants, and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Sue is survived by her daughters, Marcie (Jeff) Ceitlin and Randie (Corey) Shaw; her husband Douglas Mason; brother Dr. Jeffrey (Aviva) Rothschild; and her beloved grandchildren, Jared and Lainey Ceitlin and Leah and Justin Shaw.

The family asks that donations be made to the John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack University Medical Center in her memory.
