Wilbert Lissak, 92, of Verona, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on June 19, 2023 surrounded by family after battling a long illness. Wil was predeceased by his wife Audrey Dolin Lissak in 2018. Wil is survived by his children, Ron and wife Marcia, Kenneth and wife Susan, and Rona and husband Jesse and his beloved grandchildren Benjamín and wife Caitlyn, Brian and wife Jessica and great grandson Aryeh, and grandsons Joseph, Sam, James, and predeceased by granddaughter Erika. Wil was the son of Morris and Sadie Freid Lissak and the youngest brother of David Lissak and Helen Lissak Gottlieb and is survived by his nieces Karen Lissak Borish and Karen Gottlieb Schultze.

Mr. Lissak was born in Passaic, New Jersey on December 9, 1930 and was a lifelong New Jersey resident. Wil was an accomplished CPA for over seven decades in Morristown, New Jersey and loved by his long list of clients whom he served until just several years ago as a partner at Withum Smith in Morris County.
A dapper dresser, Wil was an avid golfer and longtime member of Cedar Hill Country Club, Livingston
New Jersey. Being a passionate Giants fan he had season tickets since 1960 and attended his last game this past season. He loved opera and was a prolific reader and history buff, on a mission to visit every Presidential Library.

Mr. Lissak graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Pace University and served in the US Army from 1954-1955 during the Korean War
