Alla was a world traveller, an avid reader, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. With her husband, Dmitri, Alla snorkeled in Mexico, ate pastries in Portugal, and hiked the Swiss Alps. She loved to visit her son, Igor, and his family in New York City, then catch a show on Broadway or the latest exhibit at the Met. Alla regularly clocked 15,000 steps a day, many of them spent chasing her grandsons, Roman and Adrian, on the playground. Although English was her second language, she always had three books checked out from the local library, and strived to finish the Wordle in four.
