Arthur H. Greenberg passed away on September 26 at the age of 88.

He was born in 1936 to the late Pauline and Samuel Greenberg. His early childhood and teenage years were spent living in Morris County, New Jersey, primarily in Morristown and Lake Hiawatha. Art graduated Boonton High School in 1954, received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in 1958, and later a Master’s Degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He spent his career as an electrical engineer and was very devoted to his profession by becoming involved with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a technical professional organization. He remained in the electrical engineering field until he retired in 2009.

Art had a variety of interests such as track and field, weight lifting, stamp collecting, traveling, going to sporting events, and skiing. He was part of a ski club that traveled to various slopes, one of which was a trip to Vermont, where Art met his future wife, Carol, who passed away in 2023. They were married in June 1970, lived the first couple years in Nutley and West Caldwell, before settling in Wayne, where they lived for almost fifty years, and raised their children Julie and Paul. Art and Carol were very active as members of the Shomrei Torah Synagogue in Wayne and also volunteered as ushers at the community theater in Morristown.

Arthur was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Julie and Paul, daughter-in-law Rhea and a grandchild. He lived a very fulfilling life and will be deeply missed.
