A dedicated educator and innovator, Bernice also started Wayne Ed, a program that enabled teachers to earn college and professional development credit.
Bernice was predeceased by her kindhearted sister Claire, her loving son, Steven, and forty years and a day on the Hebrew calendar, her beloved husband, Stanley Levine. Their memory remained forever close to her heart.

Aunt Bunny was a remarkable woman! She had a kind heart, and her love of life and compassion was far reaching. I remember great times playing in her backyard with all of us cousins. Sometimes we would get haircuts in her kitchen, which had a beautiful wall mural, which she painted. She always had snacks for us, and when we stayed for dinner, it was delicious! Her positivity was admirable and impressive. Aunt Bunny will always hold a very special place in my heart.
