Frances C. Altman recently of Robbinsville, NJ, previously of Fair Lawn, NJ, passed away on Sunday, October 6, at the age of 98.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Alvin Krulik and her second husband, Solomon Altman. Frances was the beloved mother of Renee Thomson (husband Robert), Marsha Corrocher (husband Flavio) and step-mother to Robyn Altman.

She had 7 grandchildren (Justin, Rachel, Jonah, Ryan, Kevin, Kate, and Stacey) and 14 great-grandchildren which she liked to brag about. Frances lived most of her life in New Jersey, leaving to live in Brooklyn and Long Island when she first married. Later she moved back to New Jersey with her children to live with her parents and care for them as they aged. When she remarried she moved to Fair Lawn. She continued caring for her mother while working full time as a bookkeeper well past retirement age because she enjoyed the work and friendships she made.

She was very outgoing, so after retirement, Frances joined one of the clubs at the Senior Center and spent weekends playing bingo and participating in other social events and trips. She liked to crochet and read when at home and was loved by all who knew her. Her last years were spent in an assisted living facility where she made many friends and enjoyed participating all the activities available to her.
