It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gloria Zevin, (nee Schultz), who departed this life peacefully on June 26, 2025 at the age of 94.

Gloria was born on March 18, 1931 in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth, kindness, and unwavering strength touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Gloria had a generous spirit, a loving heart, and a deep sense of compassion that she extended to both family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Laura Bach (David), Howard Zevin (Terry Jones), grandsons Aaron and Noah, her sister Arlene Kessler of Bainbridge Island, WA and her brother Jerry Schultz of Houston, TX. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Paul Zevin, brother Malvin Schultz, and sisters Bernice Kanzer and Evelyn Eisgrau.

Gloria will be remembered for her love of playing Scrabble, brain games, spending time with friends, her wonderful sense of humor, and the deep love she had for her family.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at 11:00 at the Louis Suburban Chapel, located at 13-01 Broadway (Route 4 West), Fair Lawn, NJ. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate Gloria’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Autism Speaks in Gloria’s memory.

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
