General Information

Full Name: Harry Koenig
Date of Death: Monday, July 20, 2026

Harry Koenig, of Monroe Township, passed away on July 20, 2026, at the age of 89.  Devoted husband of Theresa Koenig (Palladino).  Loving father of Laurie LaBella and Michael Koenig.  Beloved stepfather of Melissa Vella.  Cherished grandfather of James and Emma LaBella, and Natalia Koenig.  Harry is predeceased by his parents, George and Olga, and his sister Ellen Evans.

Harry was born in the Bronx in 1937.  He spent his career as an aviation mechanic, working for General Electric for 30 years, before eventually enjoying retirement.  Harry was known for his love of golf and being an avid biker.  He also could never turn down a good hike.  He was a devout Rangers fan, lover of jazz music, and nothing could make him laugh quite like Seinfeld.

Harry lived purposely, always having a certain vigor and fight in him.  Above all else, his family was the most important thing to him.  He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend to many.  He will truly be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him.  May his memory always be a blessing.

Harry was not neutral. He was passionate about golf, vacationing, biking, walking, of course – politics. and especially about teri, whom he considered his best friend. As she indeed was. He leaves us with many fond and colorful memories.
    He’s missed.
