Leatrice Tischler, of Fair Lawn, passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 96.  Devoted wife of the late Joseph Tischler.  Loving mother of Gail Milchman and her husband Barry, and the late Steven Tischler.  Cherished grandmother of Stacey Latus and her husband Edward, and Seth Milchman and his wife Sarah.  Beloved great grandmother of Ryden and Lachlan Latus, and Sam Milchman.

Leatrice was born and raised in Paterson.  After marrying Joseph, they would settle and raise their family in Fair Lawn, where she spent the next 65 years of her life.  Leatrice was an avid reader and loved playing mahjong and cards, especially canasta.  She spent much of her time doing volunteer work with Hadassah, as well as Valley and Barnert Hospital.  Above all else, Leatrice cherished her family and the time she spent with them.
