Marcia Ellen Abrams, 81, passed away on February 5, 2025, after a long illness.

Marcia was born on March 11, 1943 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the eldest of two children. At age 14, Marcia and her family moved to Fair Lawn, New Jersey. There, at age 15, Marcia met her true love, David.

After receiving her education, Marcia primarily worked in the family business, Imperial Copy Products, Inc. in Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey.

Marcia had a larger-than-life personality and was one of the easiest people to talk to. She had many interests and hobbies and an exorbitant amount of trivia knowledge. She was an avid needle pointer, knitter, and crocheter. Marcia was well known for her homemade blankets and portraits that she gave as gifts for her family and friends. Her huge heart touched many lives around her. She prided herself on spoiling her children and grandchildren. Nana attended every dance recital that Ashley performed in and took her to see many Broadway shows. She had a special affinity with her grandson, Matthew, talking sports, especially football! Nana also loved watching Jonathan play ice hockey and was looking forward to attending his wedding to Rebecca next fall. She was so excited for Griffin, as he embarked on his career in China. When she wasn’t spending time with her grandchildren, you could find Marcia watching football and golf, spending time with her friends, or traveling to new places with her husband.

Marcia is survived by her partner of 62 years, David, and children, Craig, Brian, Cheryl, and Colette. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Ashley, Matthew, Jonathan, and Griffin. Other surviving relatives include her sister-in-law, Audrey, and nephew, Wayne.

Marcia is predeceased by her parents and one sibling: Leo and Fritzie Pasternak and her younger sister, Linda.
