Martin (Marty) Simon, age 84, of Emerson, NJ and Lake Worth, FL passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025.

Beloved husband of Roberta for 63 wonderful years. Devoted father to Francine (Anna) and Evan (Janice), and proud grandfather to Julianne (Matt) and Jeremy. He was the loving brother of the late Leila Smith and cherished uncle to Marissa, Rivka, and Eric. He is also survived by many dear cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom he held close to his heart.

Born in the Bronx, NY, to Rose and Frank Simon. Marty graduated from City College of NY before serving honorably as a medic in the U.S. Army. He later joined his uncle Jack Goldfinger in the auditing business, where he built a successful career. A long-time member of Congregation B’nai Israel in Emerson, Marty was deeply rooted in his community.

In retirement, Marty found great joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren., he enjoyed many years with his grandchildren. He was an avid tennis player, golfer, and poker player, and loved dining out and attending live shows. He had a great sense of humor; he was the consummate jokester and loved to make people laugh. Above all, Marty was most proud of his family.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday September 13, at 1:30 PM at Beth El Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave, Paramus, NJ.
