Max Kooper, 83, of River Vale, NJ and formerly of New York, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday April 5, 2025.

Born in the Bronx, NY to the late Lillian and Jacob Kupperblatt, he was the devoted husband of Susan Kooper, the beloved father of Jay (Jessica) and Keith (Abbe) Kooper, and the loving grandfather of Jordan, Ethan, Riley and Zachary Kooper. He is also survived by his loving sister Sue (Jeffrey) Morris, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday April 9.

Shiva will be held at the home of Jay and Jessica Kooper from Wednesday evening April 9 through Friday afternoon April 11.
