Melvin F. Weiss, age 89, of Kinnelon, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 18, 2024.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, to Morris and Lillian. After working as a schoolteacher he started his own product testing laboratory, called Consumer Product Testing Company, Inc., in Fairfield, NJ, and was proud to offer ‘service with excellence since 1975’.

Beloved husband of Joy (nee Kanter) for over 43 years. Devoted father of Lon(Gail), Craig(Zandra), Randy Kaufman(Sandy), and Todd Frank(Michelle). Cherished grandfather of Marissa Logan(Patrick), Logan Weiss(Lauren), Meg Luis(Joshua), Brennan Weiss(Amanda Ciani), Jake Kaufman, Daniel Weiss, Griffin Weiss, Bryce Kaufman, Elaine Weiss, Austin Frank, Maria Frank, Joseph Frank, Carson Frank, Christoper Frank, and great grandfather of Kaden Luis. Dear brother of Herbert.
