Philip J Winick, 70, of Fair Lawn, passed peacefully on January, 5, 2025.
Born in Paterson, Philip lived most of his life in Fair Lawn, and one year in Clifton. Philip was a graduate of Fair Lawn High School and William Paterson University. After graduating, Philip held a variety of sales jobs in Northern New Jersey. Philip was an active member of Congregation B’nai Sholom in Fair Lawn. Prior to retirement, he delivered for P&A Auto Parts. Amongst his interests were Black doo-wop music, flower photography, reading, and the Cincinnati Reds.
Loving husband of Cindy Winick (née Blumka). Devoted father of Harry Winick and Maggie Winick. Philip is also survived by his brothers, Eric Winick (Anna) and Robert Winick (Estelita), and nephews Daniel, Joshua, Mark, Travis, Terry, Steven, and great-nephew Cole, and dear friends Bob and Rob.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 7th, at Louis Suburban Chapel, 13-01 Broadway in Fair Lawn. The family will host Shiva 7:00 pm on Tuesday, as well as Wednesday, and Thursday, at their home, 14-32 Mandon Pl, Fair Lawn.
