Born on December 6, 1931 in the Bronx, NY. She was a devoted daughter, niece, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Her love of life and of people were evident in all aspects of her life. She loved heading up her knitting club, The Positive Side of Life Club, and playing all types of games with her friends. She brought warmth and energy to every gathering, bringing people together, and making sure newcomers felt welcome and seen. She cherished moments with her friends and family making memories for all.
She is survived by her children: Neal Fisher and his wife Petra, Edward Fisher and his wife Susan, and Jeffrey Fisher and his wife Rona. Rhoda was a proud grandmother to Rachel, Joshua, Jesse, Hannah, Naomi, Sara and Rebecca. She adored her great grandchildren Harper, Logan, Austin, Riley,
Rhoda found great joy in participating in activities with her friends and an active member of her clubs at her home in Platina.
Rhoda’s legacy of love and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort and peace to those she touched.

I only met Rhoda 5 years ago when I joined the Platina Knitting Group. She made me feel welcomed from the very first meeting. She was a kind and caring person. She even made me a menorah out of Mahj jong tiles which I cherish. I will miss her.
