Formerly of Monmouth Beach, died on July 20, 2025. She was 96. Sylvia was the wife of former Monmouth County Assignment Judge Alvin Yale Milberg.

Sylvia was born on June 23, 1929 in Newark, New Jersey to Alex Lebowitz and Molly Lebowitz. She grew up in Newark. In later years, she lived in  Manhattan, and Monmouth Beach. She moved to Palm Beach Florida in 1995. For many years, she was the owner of Person to Person in Red Bank, a boutique company specializing in personalized stationary and invitations.

She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Alvin Yale Milberg, who died in 2025. She is survived by her daughter Barbara and her husband Andrew Mandell of Manhattan, and twin grandchildren, Arden and Reid.

It was her wish that funeral arrangements are private.
